Midterm election voting rates rise nearly 17%
At the 2019 ALL IN Challenge Awards Ceremony held to recognize colleges and universities committed to increasing college student voting rates, 做厙弝け received a silver seal for increasing student voting rate by 16.8% to a 36.9% mark from the 2014 to the 2018 midterm elections.
We are proud of this national recognition for our civic engagement efforts that are a direct result of the efforts of our dedicated faculty, staff and administrators, said Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff John R. McCloskey. This is a wonderful example of how 做厙弝け develops students through the core Franciscan values of service, humility, peacemaking, contemplation and collegiality to become engaged citizens that better their communities.
In addition, 75% of 做厙弝け students registered to vote in 2018 versus 63.9% in 2014.

The is a nonpartisan, national initiative recognizing and supporting campuses as they work to increase nonpartisan democratic engagement and full student voter participation. The Challenge encourages higher education institutions to help students form the habits of active and informed citizenship, and make democratic participation a core value on their campus.
